A personal message from Alex:
After seven and a half months and four hospitals, I've been home for three weeks and needless to say it's a wonderful feeling.  I want to thank my dear friends Carolyn Keller and Faye Bell, sisters from Granite Falls NC who stayed at the house and helped with the transition of my homecoming.  I'd also like to thank my good friend George Flew for his help in setting up Dragon Naturally Speaking, which will allow me to be on the internet and to be able to read and send emails. In addition, I want to thank Randy Farrar, a long time friend who has engineered, performed and co-produced many of my recordings. Randy moved from southern California and, like myself, now lives here in Franklin. He has been a great asset in helping Linda and I with modifications at the house.

Most of all, I want to thank my dear Linda for her love and care throughout this ordeal.  Truly she is an angel to me and I'm blessed to have her as my wife.

On A Personal Note:
As most of you already know, Alex suffered a severe spinal cord injury early this summer.   Alex has spent the better part of four decades not only sharing his love of Scottish music and history with us, but also devoting his time and talent appearing in more "fund-raising events" for various worthwhile causes than even he can remember.  Well, at this time, Alex and his amazing wife Linda, could use your kind assistance and generosity in the form of a contribution to help defer the staggering medical expenses they are now facing.  This type of injury can often take years of therapy in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities as well as home nursing care.  Through his music, Alex has given so many people so much pleasure that, if there's any truth left in that old country adage "what goes around, comes around" then Alex and Linda will be just fine.

If you wish to help defer some of Alex's medical expenses, kindly send your contribution to:

Alex Beaton's Rehabilitation Fund by either clicking on the "DONATE" button found below, or sending a check or money order made out to Alex Beaton, to the following address:

P.O. Box 681707 Franklin, Tennessee 37068

Let's get Alex back on stage where he belongs!
